Every solaero frame runs on the same foundation: a titanium core built to survive hours under a headset, paired with cockpit-grade nylon lenses and either acetate or titanium fronts, depending on the model. Even the case is engineered, not just styled — aluminium, light enough for a flight bag, sturdy enough to protect what's inside.
TITANIUM
Titanium is aviation's material of choice — light, resilient, and corrosion-free. It's the core of every solaero frame, holding its shape under your headset's pressure and staying comfortable on your skin, even after eight hours in the cockpit.
NYLON
Nylon lenses in dark green or dark grey, with anti-glare and anti-scratch coating and full UV400 protection. Deliberately non-polarized, so cockpit displays stay readable — filtering up to 85% of light without blacking out a single instrument.
ACETATE
A premium acetate front on select frames, paired with the same titanium core running through the entire range. Light to wear, built to hold its shape.
